Howard H. Baker Jr. United States Courthouse

Mountains and Moon was painted in 2012 to commemorate the restoration of the Barry Spann collection in the Howard H. Baker Jr. United States Courthouse in Knoxville by The Honorable Thomas W. Phillips and The Honorable Thomas A. Varlan.

It was installed on 31 July of that year, along with a companion painting, Mountain, Moon and Stars, dedicated to Don K. Ferguson, Executive Director of the US District Court Historical Society.
