In 1988, at the request of the Smithsonian Institution, the artist put together Barry Spann: A Portfolio of Proofs. Each portfolio in the five-copy edition comprises twenty-five proofs and variations of the prints as they appear in Twenty-Seven Landscapes. They are in the collections of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, the New York Public Library Print Room, the UCLA Library Special Collections, and the Victoria and Albert Museum. One copy remains with the artist.
